Kebijaksanaan 'Umar RA tidak membagikan tanah wilayah taklukkan sebagai ghanimah demi menjaga kesejahteraan kaum Muslimin generasi mendatang

حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زَيْدٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ أَمَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْلَا أَنْ أَتْرُكَ آخِرَ النَّاسِ بَبَّانًا لَيْسَ لَهُمْ شَيْءٌ مَا فُتِحَتْ عَلَيَّ قَرْيَةٌ إِلَّا قَسَمْتُهَا كَمَا قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْبَرَ وَلَكِنِّي أَتْرُكُهَا خِزَانَةً لَهُمْ يَقْتَسِمُونَهَا

"Narrated to us Sa'id bin Abu Maryam, informed us Muhammad bin Ja'far, he said, informed me Zaid from his father, that he heard Umar bin Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) say: 'By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, were it not for fear of leaving the last of the people destitute, I would not have conquered a town without dividing it as the Prophet peace be upon him divided Khaibar. But I leave it as a treasury for them to share.'
