Bani Tamim adalah keturunan Ismail
Imam Bukhari : 4018حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَلَا أَزَالُ أُحِبُّ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُهَا فِيهِمْ هُمْ أَشَدُّ أُمَّتِي عَلَى الدَّجَّالِ وَكَانَتْ فِيهِمْ سَبِيَّةٌ عِنْدَ عَائِشَةَ فَقَالَ أَعْتِقِيهَا فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ وَلَدِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَجَاءَتْ صَدَقَاتُهُمْ فَقَالَ هَذِهِ صَدَقَاتُ قَوْمٍ أَوْ قَوْمِي
Narrated to me Zuhair bin Harb, narrated to us Jarir from 'Umarah bin Al Qa'qa' from Abu Zur'ah from Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: I will always love Bani Tamim for three reasons I heard from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about them: First, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, "They are the strongest of my nation against the Dajjal." Second, there was a captive woman from Bani Tamim at Aisha’s house, and he said, "O Aisha, free her, for she is a descendant of Ismail." Third, when their charity arrived, he said, "This is the charity of our people or my people.
