Imam Darimi : 2260حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَتَبَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ وَكَانَ فِي كِتَابِهِ وَفِي الْأَنْفِ إِذَا أُوعِبَ جَدْعُهُ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي اللِّسَانِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي الشَّفَتَيْنِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي الْبَيْضَتَيْنِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي الذَّكَرِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي الصُّلْبِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي الْعَيْنَيْنِ الدِّيَةُ وَفِي الرِّجْلِ الْوَاحِدَةِ نِصْفُ الدِّيَةِ وَفِي الْمَأْمُومَةِ ثُلُثُ الدِّيَةِ وَفِي الْجَائِفَةِ ثُلُثُ الدِّيَةِ وَفِي الْمُنَقِّلَةِ خَمْسَ عَشَرَةَ مِنْ الْإِبِلِ
Narrated to us [Al Hakam bin Musa] Narrated to us [Yahya bin Hamzah] from [Sulaiman bin Daud] Narrated to me [Az Zuhri] from [Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin 'Amr bin Hazm] from [his father] from [his grandfather] that the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him once wrote a letter to the people of Yemen, and among the contents of the letter were, ".....for a nose if it is cut off, all of it is one diyat, for a tongue one diyat, for two lips one diyat, two testicles one diyat, penis one diyat, spine one diyat, two eyes one diyat, one leg half a diyat, a wound that reaches the brain, one third diyat, an internal wound one third diyat, a fractured and dislocated bone fifteen camels.
