أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ أَنَّ عَمَّهَا أَخَا أَبِي الْقُعَيْسِ جَاءَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَيْهَا بَعْدَمَا ضُرِبَ الْحِجَابُ فَأَبَتْ أَنْ تَأْذَنَ لَهُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَسْتَأْذِنَهُ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَقَالَتْ جَاءَ عَمِّي أَخُو أَبِي الْقُعَيْسِ فَرَدَدْتُهُ حَتَّى أَسْتَأْذِنَكَ قَالَ أَوَ لَيْسَ بِعَمِّكِ قَالَتْ إِنَّمَا أَرْضَعَتْنِي الْمَرْأَةُ وَلَمْ يُرْضِعْنِي الرَّجُلُ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ عَمُّكِ فَلْيَلِجْ عَلَيْكِ قَالَ وَكَانَتْ عَائِشَةُ تَقُولُ يَحْرُمُ مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا يَحْرُمُ مِنْ الْوِلَادَةِ

Narrated to us [Ja'far bin 'Aun] Narrated to us [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] he said:had informed me ['Aisyah] that her uncle, brother Abu Al Qu'ais, came to ask permission to meet her after the revelation of the hijab verse, then 'Aisyah refused to allow it until the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him came and asked her permission, after the Prophet Peace be upon him came, 'Aisyah mentioned this to him and said:"My uncle, Abu Al Qu'ais' brother, came, but I refused until he asked your permission." He said: "Isn't he your uncle?" Aisyah answered; "Indeed, the one who breastfed me was a woman and was not breastfed by a man." He said: "Indeed he is your uncle, so he may come in to see you." 'Urwah said:'Aisyah continued; "Indeed, breastfeeding prohibits what is prohibited by offspring.
