أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَتِيكٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مِنْ الْغَيْرَةِ مَا يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ وَمِنْهَا مَا يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ فَالْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي يُحِبُّ اللَّهُ الْغَيْرَةُ فِي الرِّيبَةِ وَالْغَيْرَةُ الَّتِي يُبْغِضُ اللَّهُ الْغَيْرَةُ فِي غَيْرِ رِيبَةٍ

Narrated to us [Abu Al Mughirah] Narrated to us [Al Auza'i] Narrated to us [Yahya bin Abu Katsir] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] Narrated to me [Ibnu Jabir bin 'Atik] Narrated to me [my father] that the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said: "Among jealousy, there is something that Allah loves and there is something that Allah hates. The jealousy that Allah loves is jealousy when there is doubt and envy What Allah hates is jealousy when there is no doubt.
