أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَمَعَةَ قَالَ خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ يَوْمًا فَوَعَظَهُمْ فِي النِّسَاءِ فَقَالَ مَا بَالُ الرَّجُلِ يَجْلِدُ امْرَأَتَهُ جَلْدَ الْعَبْدِ وَلَعَلَّهُ يُضَاجِعُهَا فِي آخِرِ يَوْمِهِ

Narrated to us [Ja'far bin 'Aun] Narrated to us [Hisyam bin 'Urwah] from [his father] from [Abdullah bin Zama'ah], he said:One day the Prophet Peace be upon him gave a sermon in front of people. He advised them about their wives. He said: "How can a man whip his wife like whipping a slave, even though he will probably have sex with her at the end of the day.
