حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَبَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَهْطًا إِلَى أَبِي رَافِعٍ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَتِيكٍ بَيْتَهُ لَيْلًا وَهُوَ نَائِمٌ فَقَتَلَهُ

"Narrated to me [Ishaq bin Nashr] narrated to us [Yahya bin Adam] narrated to us [Ibnu Abu Za'idah] from [his father] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Barra' bin Azib] may Allah be pleased with them both, he said, 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, sent a group to Abu Rafi'. Abdullah bin Atik entered his house at night while he was asleep and killed him.'
