Bepergian selama sepuluh sampai sembilan belas hari dengan mengqashar (meringkas), dengan shalat dua rakaat
Imam Malik : 315حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِك عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِكَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ صَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ أَتِمُّوا صَلَاتَكُمْ فَإِنَّا قَوْمٌ سَفْرٌو حَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِك عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
Narrated to me from Yahya from Malik from Ibn Shihab from Salim bin Abdullah from his father, that when Umar bin Al-Khattab came to Makkah, he led them in two rak'ahs and said, O people of Makkah, complete your prayers, for we are travelers. Narrated to me from Malik from Zaid bin Aslam from his father from Umar bin Al-Khattab, the same.
