Narrated by Jubarah bin Al Mughallis, from Mindal bin Ali, from Abdul Aziz bin Umar, from Nafi', from Ibnu Umar: Two Eids coincided during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He prayed with the people and said, 'Whoever wishes to attend Friday prayer may do so, and whoever wishes to stay back may stay back.'
