Imam Ibnu Majah : 403حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ وَدَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَلْيَسْتَنْثِرْ وَمَنْ اسْتَجْمَرَ فَلْيُوتِرْ
Narrated to us Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah, narrated to us Zaid bin Al Hubab and Dawud bin Abdullah, both said: Narrated to us Malik bin Anas, from Ibnu Syihab, from Abu Idris Al Khaulani, from Abu Hurairah, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever performs wudhu should do istinsyaq, and whoever performs istijmar should use an odd number.'
