Imam Ibnu Majah : 400حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ قَالَقَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأْتَ فَانْثُرْ وَإِذَا اسْتَجْمَرْتَ فَأَوْتِرْ
Narrated to us Ahmad bin Abdah, narrated to us Hammad bin Zaid, from Manshur. And via another chain: Narrated to us Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah, narrated to us Abu Al Ahwash, from Manshur, from Hilal bin Yasaf, from Salamah bin Qais, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: 'When you perform wudhu, blow out the water from your nose, and when you perform istijmar, use an odd number.'
