Tatkala gandum sudah banyak, maka boleh zakat hanya dengan setengah sha’
Imam Nasa'i : 1562أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ الْحَسَنِأَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ خَطَبَ بِالْبَصْرَةِ فَقَالَ أَدُّوا زَكَاةَ صَوْمِكُمْ فَجَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَنْظُرُ بَعْضُهُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَاهُنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ قُومُوا إِلَى إِخْوَانِكُمْ فَعَلِّمُوهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَرَضَ صَدَقَةَ الْفِطْرِ عَلَى الصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ وَالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى نِصْفَ صَاعٍ مِنْ بُرٍّ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ شَعِيرٍ
Narrated to us ['Ali bin Hujr] he said :Narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] he said :Narrated to us [Humaid] from [Al Hasan] that [Ibn 'Abbas] once preached in Basra, he said : "Pay your zakat for fasting." People looked at each other. Then he said : "Who are the people of Madinah with you here? Rise up to your brothers and teach them, because they do not know that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him has obliged zakat al-Fitr on children and adults, free and slaves, men and women, in the amount of half a Sha' of wheat or one Sha' of dates or sya'ir (a type of wheat)."
