Imam Nasa'i : 114أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّةَ الْوَادِعِيِّ قَالَرَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثًا وَتَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثَلَاثًا وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَذِرَاعَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَغَسَلَ رِجْلَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ هَذَا وُضُوءُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Adam], from [Ibn Abu Zaidah] said :Narrated to us [my father] and others, from [Abu Ishaq] from [Abu Hayyah Al Waadli'i] said : "I saw [Ali] performing ablution, he washed his palms three times, rinsed his mouth and put water in his nose three times, washed his face three times, washed his arms three times-three times, wiped his head, and washed his feet three times-three times." Then he said: "This is the ablution of Rasulullah peace be upon him."
