Disyariatkannya mandi: masuk islam, Rasulullah memerintahkan untuk mandi dengan air dan daun bidara
Imam Tirmidzi : 550حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَغَرِّ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍأَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ لِلرَّجُلِ إِذَا أَسْلَمَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ وَيَغْسِلَ ثِيَابَهُ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar], narrated to us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi], narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Al Agharr bin As Shabbah] from [Khalifah bin Hushain] from [Qais bin 'Ashim] after he entered Islam, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered him to bathe with water and sidr leaves. Abu 'Isa said, a similar hadith is also narrated from Abu Hurairah and this is a hasan hadith, we do not know it except from this path. The people of knowledge practice it by holding sunnah for a new Muslim to bathe and wash his clothes.
