Imam Abu Dawud : 1982
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ عَنْ زَائِدَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُقَدِّمُوا الشَّهْرَ بِصِيَامِ يَوْمٍ وَلَا يَوْمَيْنِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ شَيْءٌ يَصُومُهُ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَا تَصُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ ثُمَّ صُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْهُ فَإِنْ حَالَ دُونَهُ غَمَامَةٌ فَأَتِمُّوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلَاثِينَ ثُمَّ أَفْطِرُوا وَالشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد رَوَاهُ حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ وَشُعْبَةُ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ بِمَعْنَاهُ لَمْ يَقُولُوا ثُمَّ أَفْطِرُوا قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَهُوَ حَاتِمُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ابْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ وَأَبُو صَغِيرَةَ زَوْجُ أُمِّهِ
Narrated to us [Al Hasan bin Ali], narrated to us [Husain], from [Zaidah] from [Simak] from [Ikrimah] from [Ibnu Abbas], he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Do not precede the month with fasting one day or two days, except for someone who regularly does so, and do not fast until you see it (the crescent), then fast until you see it. Then if it is obscured by clouds, complete the count to thirty days. Then break your fast! A month is twenty-nine days.' Abu Daud said: The hadith was narrated by [Hatim bin Abu Shaghirah] and [Syu'bah], and [Al Hasan bin Shalih] from [Simak] with the same meaning, they did not say: then break your fast! Abu Daud said: He is Hatim bin Muslim, the son of Abu Shaghirah, while Abu Shaghirah was his mother’s husband.
