Imam Bukhari : 1057
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَاحْتَبَسَ جِبْرِيلُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ أَبْطَأَ عَلَيْهِ شَيْطَانُهُ فَنَزَلَتْ{ وَالضُّحَى وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى }
Muhammad bin Kathir narrated to us, Sufyan informed us, from Al-Aswad bin Qais, from Jundab bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: Gabriel (peace be upon him) delayed coming to the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him, and a woman from Quraish Sa'd 'His devil has abandoned him.' Then the verses were revealed: 'By the forenoon, and by the night when it darkens, your Lord has neither forsaken you nor hates you.' (Qur'an, Adh-Dhuha: 1-3).
