Turunnya QS. An-Nisa': 65 berkenaan dengan perselisihan Zubair dan seorang Anshar tentang pengairan kebun
Imam Tirmidzi : 1283حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَهُأَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ خَاصَمَ الزُّبَيْرَ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي شِرَاجِ الْحَرَّةِ الَّتِي يَسْقُونَ بِهَا النَّخْلَ فَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ سَرِّحْ الْمَاءَ يَمُرُّ فَأَبَى عَلَيْهِ فَاخْتَصَمُوا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلزُّبَيْرِ اسْقِ يَا زُبَيْرُ ثُمَّ أَرْسِلْ الْمَاءَ إِلَى جَارِكَ فَغَضِبَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنْ كَانَ ابْنَ عَمَّتِكَ فَتَلَوَّنَ وَجْهُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا زُبَيْرُ اسْقِ ثُمَّ احْبِسْ الْمَاءَ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الْجَدْرِ فَقَالَ الزُّبَيْرُ وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لَأَحْسِبُ نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ فِي ذَلِكَ{ فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ حَتَّى يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيْنَهُمْ }قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَرَوَى شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ وَرَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ اللَّيْثِ وَيُونُسُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ نَحْوَ الْحَدِيثِ الْأَوَّلِ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah], narrated to us [Al Laits] from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Urwah] that he narrated to him that [Abdullah bin Az Zubair] narrated to him that an Ansari disputed with Az Zubair before the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on highland water for dates. Ansari: Let water flow he refused. Disputed before the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him he said to Az Zubair: Irrigate, O Zubair, then let water to neighbor." Ansari angry: O Messenger, because your aunt's son? Prophet's face reddened he said: "Irrigate, then hold until wall." Az Zubair: By Allah, this verse on it: (By your Lord, they believe not until you judge their disputes, no unease on your decision, full acceptance). Abu Isa said: Hasan sahih [Syu'aib bin Abu Hamzah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Urwah bin Az Zubair] from [Az Zubair] without Abdullah bin Az Zubair. [Abdullah bin Wahb] from [Al Laits] and [Yunus] from [Az Zuhri] from [Urwah] from [Abdullah bin Az Zubair] like first."
