Al 'Azim

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَال سَمِعْتُ الْمِنْهَالَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ يَعُودُ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَحْضُرْ أَجَلُهُ فَيَقُولُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ أَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبَّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ إِلَّا عُوفِيَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna] has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] has told us [Syu'bah] from [Yazid bin Khalid] he said : I heard [Al Minhal bin 'Amr] narrate from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn 'Abbas] from the Prophet peace be upon him said: "There is no Muslim servant who visits a sick person who is not yet dying and then he says seven times, 'AS`ALULLAAHAL 'AZHIIM RABBAL 'ARSYIL KARIIM AN YASYFIYAKA (I ask Allah the Most Great, the Lord of the Noble Throne to cure you) except that he will recover." Abu Isa said : This is a hasan gharib hadith, we do not know it except from the hadith of Al Minhal bin Amr.
