Islam akan tetap kokoh hingga muncul dua belas khalifah, seluruhnya dari Quraisy
Imam Abu Dawud : 3732حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ عَنْ عَامِرٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً قَالَ فَكَبَّرَ النَّاسُ وَضَجُّوا ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيفَةً قُلْتُ لِأَبِي يَا أَبَتِ مَا قَالَ قَالَ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُفَيْلٍ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ زَادَ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ إِلَى مَنْزِلِهِ أَتَتْهُ قُرَيْشٌ فَقَالُوا ثُمَّ يَكُونُ مَاذَا قَالَ ثُمَّ يَكُونُ الْهَرْجُ
Narrated to us[Musa bin Isma'il], from [Wuhaib] who narrated to us [Dawud] from ['Amir] from [Jabir bin Samurah], who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: 'This religion will remain noble until the twelfth caliph.'" Jabir said: "The people shouted takbir. Then he said a quiet statement (that I did not hear), so I asked my father: 'O father, what did he say?' He replied: 'He said they are from Quraysh.'" Narrated to us[Ibn Nufayl], from [Zuhayr] who narrated to us [Ziyad bin Khaythamah], who narrated to us [Al-Aswad bin Sa'id Al-Hamdani] from [Jabir bin Samurah] with the same hadith. But he added: "When he returned home, the people of Quraysh came to him asking: 'What will happen after that?' He replied: 'Killing.'"
