Tujuh orang Anshar gugur satu per satu membela Nabi saat diserang kaum musyrik, setelah beliau menjanjikan bahwa yang melawan demi membelanya akan menjadi pendampingnya di surga
Imam Muslim : 3344و حَدَّثَنَا هَدَّابُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُفْرِدَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فِي سَبْعَةٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ وَرَجُلَيْنِ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ فَلَمَّا رَهِقُوهُ قَالَ مَنْ يَرُدُّهُمْ عَنَّا وَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ أَوْ هُوَ رَفِيقِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَتَقَدَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ ثُمَّ رَهِقُوهُ أَيْضًا فَقَالَ مَنْ يَرُدُّهُمْ عَنَّا وَلَهُ الْجَنَّةُ أَوْ هُوَ رَفِيقِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَتَقَدَّمَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَاتَلَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ فَلَمْ يَزَلْ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى قُتِلَ السَّبْعَةُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِصَاحِبَيْهِ مَا أَنْصَفْنَا أَصْحَابَنَا
Narrated to us [Haddab bin Khalid Al Azdi], narrated to us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Ali bin Zaid] and [Tsabit bin Al Banani] from [Anas bin Malik], that when the Battle of Uhud raged, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, was left alone with seven Ansar and two Quraysh companions (Muhajirin). As the enemy drew closer to him, he said, "Whoever can repel them from us will have paradise or be with me in paradise." A man from the Ansar stepped forward and fought until he was killed. Then the enemy drew closer again, and he said, "Whoever can repel them from me will have paradise or be with me in paradise." Another man from the Ansar stepped forward and fought until he was killed. This continued until all seven Ansar companions were killed. Then the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said to the two Quraysh companions, "How just our companions were."'
