Larangan menahan kelebihan air, karena dengannya orang lain terhalang memanfaatkan rumput di sekitarnya
Imam Tirmidzi : 1193حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا يُمْنَعُ فَضْلُ الْمَاءِ لِيُمْنَعَ بِهِ الْكَلَأُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَأَبُو الْمِنْهَالِ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُطْعِمٍ كُوفِيٌّ وَهُوَ الَّذِي رَوَى عَنْهُ حَبِيبُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ وَأَبُو الْمِنْهَالِ سَيَّارُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ بَصْرِيٌّ صَاحِبُ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah], narrated to us [Al Laits] from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Let not the one who has excess water withhold his water for the growth of grass." Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan sahih. Abul Minhal's real name is Abdurrahman bin Muth'im, a resident of Kufah his narration is taken by Habib bin Abu Tsabit. Whereas Abul Minhal Sayyar bin Salamah is a Basran, companion of Abu Barzah Al Aslami."
