Perintah Rasulullah SAW untuk membunuh anjing di seluruh kota

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ ابْنِ السَّبَّاقِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي مَيْمُونَةُ زَوْجُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام كَانَ وَعَدَنِي أَنْ يَلْقَانِي اللَّيْلَةَ فَلَمْ يَلْقَنِي ثُمَّ وَقَعَ فِي نَفْسِهِ جَرْوُ كَلْبٍ تَحْتَ بِسَاطٍ لَنَا فَأَمَرَ بِهِ فَأُخْرِجَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ مَاءً فَنَضَحَ بِهِ مَكَانَهُ فَلَمَّا لَقِيَهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام قَالَ إِنَّا لَا نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلَا صُورَةٌ فَأَصْبَحَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَمَرَ بِقَتْلِ الْكِلَابِ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيَأْمُرُ بِقَتْلِ كَلْبِ الْحَائِطِ الصَّغِيرِ وَيَتْرُكُ كَلْبَ الْحَائِطِ الْكَبِيرِ

Narrated to us[Ahmad bin Salih], from [Ibn Wahb], who informed me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from [Ibn As-Sabbagh] from [Ibn 'Abbas], who said: narrated to me [Maymunah], the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Jibril (peace be upon him) promised to meet me tonight, but he did not come." Then he remembered that there was a puppy under our rug, and he ordered (it to be removed). The puppy was removed, then he took water in his hand and sprinkled it on the spot. When Jibril (peace be upon him) met him, he said: "We do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture." After that, the Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered the killing of dogs until he also ordered the killing of small guard dogs for orchards, and left the large guard dogs for orchards."
