Nabi tidak bertahallul karena telah men-talbid rambut dan mengikat hadyu, sementara para istri beliau diperintahkan bertahallul
Imam Bukhari : 1464حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْيَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ حَلُّوا بِعُمْرَةٍ وَلَمْ تَحْلِلْ أَنْتَ مِنْ عُمْرَتِكَ قَالَ إِنِّي لَبَّدْتُ رَأْسِي وَقَلَّدْتُ هَدْيِي فَلَا أَحِلُّ حَتَّى أَنْحَرَ
Narrated to us Isma'il, narrated to me Malik, and narrated to us 'Abdullah bin Yusuf, informed us Malik from Nafi, from Ibn 'Umar from Hafsah, may Allah be pleased with them, the Prophet's wife, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O Messenger of Allah, why have people released ihram for umrah while you have not? He said: I have matted my hair and marked my sacrificial animal, so I will not release ihram until I sacrifice.
