Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: jangan sekali-kali orang-orang arab badui mengalahkan kalian dari shalat kalian, ketahuilah bahwa shalat itu adalah shalat isya
Imam Abu Dawud : 4332حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي لَبِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَغْلِبَنَّكُمْ الْأَعْرَابُ عَلَى اسْمِ صَلَاتِكُمْ أَلَا وَإِنَّهَا الْعِشَاءُ وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يَعْتِمُونَ بِالْإِبِلِ
Narrated to us [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah], he said: narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Ibnu Abu Labid] from [Abu Salamah], he said: 'I heard [Ibnu Umar] say from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: Do not be deceived by the Bedouins regarding the name of your prayer (meaning the Bedouins call the Isha prayer 'Atamah [night prayer]). Know that the prayer is called Isha, and they call it that because they milk their camels at night."'"'
