Imam Abu Dawud : 4421قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فَتْحَهُ وَنَصْرَهُ وَنُورَهُ وَبَرَكَتَهُ وَهُدَاهُ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيهِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ ثُمَّ إِذَا أَمْسَى فَلْيَقُلْ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
Through the same chain of narration as the previous hadith, from [Abu Malik], with this chain, Abu Dawud said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: When one of you is in the morning and recites: ASHBAHNAA WA ASHBAHAL MULKU LILLAHI RABBIL 'AALAMIIN ALLAHUMMA INNII AS`ALUKA KHAIRA HAADZAL YAUMI FATHAHU WA NASHRAHU WA NUURAHU WA BARAKATAHU WA HUDAAHU WA A'UUDZU BIKA MIN SYARRI MAA FIIHI WA SYARRI MAA BA'DAHU (We have reached the morning, and the dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this day: its victory, its help, its light, its blessing, and its guidance. And I seek refuge in You from the evil of this day and the evil after it), then in the evening, let him recite the same supplication."'"'
