Jibril mendatangi Rasulullah setiap malam di bulan ramadhan, dan mengajarkan al qur'an kepada beliau
Imam Nasa'i : 2068أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ كَانَ يَقُولُكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ وَكَانَ أَجْوَدَ مَا يَكُونُ فِي رَمَضَانَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ وَكَانَ جِبْرِيلُ يَلْقَاهُ فِي كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَيُدَارِسُهُ الْقُرْآنَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام أَجْوَدَ بِالْخَيْرِ مِنْ الرِّيحِ الْمُرْسَلَةِ
Narrated to us [Sulaiman bin Dawud] from [Ibn Wahb] he said : has reported to me [Yunus] from [Ibn Shihab] from ['Ubaidullah bin 'Abdullah bin 'Utbah] that ['Abdullah bin 'Abbas] once said : "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam was the most generous human being and he would appear more generous in the month of Ramadan; when Jibril met him. Jibril met him every night in the month of Ramadan and taught him the Qur'an." Ibn Abbas said : "The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him when he met Jibril - Alaihis Salam - was more generous in terms of goodness than the wind that blows."
