Hijab-nya dari cahaya. Seandainya dia menyingkapnya niscaya kesucian wajah-nya akan membakar setiap sesuatu sejauh pandangan mata-nya
Imam Ibnu Majah : 191حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِخَمْسِ كَلِمَاتٍ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَنَامُ وَلَا يَنْبَغِي لَهُ أَنْ يَنَامَ يَخْفِضُ الْقِسْطَ وَيَرْفَعُهُ يُرْفَعُ إِلَيْهِ عَمَلُ اللَّيْلِ قَبْلَ عَمَلِ النَّهَارِ وَعَمَلُ النَّهَارِ قَبْلَ عَمَلِ اللَّيْلِ حِجَابُهُ النُّورُ لَوْ كَشَفَهُ لَأَحْرَقَتْ سُبُحَاتُ وَجْهِهِ مَا انْتَهَى إِلَيْهِ بَصَرُهُ مِنْ خَلْقِهِ
Narrated to us Ali bin Muhammad, he said, narrated to us Abu Mu’awiyah from Al A’masy from ‘Amru bin Murrah from Abu Ubaidah from Abu Musa, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood among us and spoke five words: 'Indeed, Allah does not sleep, nor is it fitting for Him to sleep. He lowers and raises the scale. The deeds of the night are raised to Him before the deeds of the day, and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night. His veil is light; if He unveiled it, the splendor of His face would burn all His creation within His sight.'
