Rasulullah pernah bekerja sebagai penggembala kambing
Imam Muslim : 3822حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَرِّ الظَّهْرَانِ وَنَحْنُ نَجْنِي الْكَبَاثَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْأَسْوَدِ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَأَنَّكَ رَعَيْتَ الْغَنَمَ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَهَلْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَقَدْ رَعَاهَا أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا مِنْ الْقَوْلِ
Narrated to me by [Abu At Thahir], He informed us [Abdullah bin Wahab] from [Yunus] from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] he said We were once with the Prophet peace be upon him in Marr Zhahran and we were picking ripe fruit from the arok tree so (The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: 'Take the black ones.' (Jabir bin Abdullah) said we asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, have you ever herded goats?' he said: 'Yes, is there not a single Prophet except that he has herded goats!' -Or something similar to this statement.-
