Anjuran memakai pakaian berwarna putih
Imam Abu Dawud : 3539حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْبَسُوا مِنْ ثِيَابِكُمْ الْبَيَاضَ فَإِنَّهَا مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ وَإِنَّ خَيْرَ أَكْحَالِكُمُ الْإِثْمِدُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ
Díxonos [Ahmad bin Yunus] dixo, díxonos [Zuhair] dixo, díxonos [Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khustaim] de [Said bin Jubair] de [Ibn Abbas] que dixo: "O profeta, sallallaahu alaihi wasallam, dixo: 'Viste de branco para a túa roupa, porque é a mellor roupa para ti. E envolve os teus mortos con el. E o mellor dos teus delineadores de ollos é Al Itsmid, pode afiar a túa vista e facerche medrar o cabelo'".
