Abdullah bin Mas’ud
Imam Ahmad : 3792حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْتَنِي سِوَاكًا مِنْ الْأَرَاكِ وَكَانَ دَقِيقَ السَّاقَيْنِ فَجَعَلَتْ الرِّيحُ تَكْفَؤُهُ فَضَحِكَ الْقَوْمُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّ تَضْحَكُونَ قَالُوا يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ مِنْ دِقَّةِ سَاقَيْهِ فَقَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُمَا أَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ
Narrated to us that [Abdush Shamad] and [Hasan bin Musa] both said : Narrated to us [Hammad] from ['Ashim] from [Zirr bin Hubaisy] from [Ibn Mas'ud] that he picked siwak from an Arak tree and he had small calves, suddenly the wind exposed his legs and people laughed at him. Rasulullah peace be upon him asked: "What are you laughing at?" They answered; O Nabiyullah, we laughed at his small calves, so he said: "By the One in whose hand my soul is, his two calves are indeed heavier than Mount Uhud.
