Abu Hurairah selalu menghafal hadits pada majelis Rasulullah
Imam Muslim : 4547حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُا إِنَّكُمْ تَزْعُمُونَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يُكْثِرُ الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاللَّهُ الْمَوْعِدُ كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مِسْكِينًا أَخْدُمُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مِلْءِ بَطْنِي وَكَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَشْغَلُهُمْ الصَّفْقُ بِالْأَسْوَاقِ وَكَانَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ يَشْغَلُهُمْ الْقِيَامُ عَلَى أَمْوَالِهِمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ يَبْسُطْ ثَوْبَهُ فَلَنْ يَنْسَى شَيْئًا سَمِعَهُ مِنِّي فَبَسَطْتُ ثَوْبِي حَتَّى قَضَى حَدِيثَهُ ثُمَّ ضَمَمْتُهُ إِلَيَّ فَمَا نَسِيتُ شَيْئًا سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْنٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ كِلَاهُمَا عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ مَالِكًا انْتَهَى حَدِيثُهُ عِنْدَ انْقِضَاءِ قَوْلِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي حَدِيثِهِ الرِّوَايَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ يَبْسُطْ ثَوْبَهُ إِلَى آخِرِهِ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah bin Sa'id] and [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Zuhair bin Harb] all from [Sufyan] who said [Zuhair] Narrated to us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Al A'raj] who said I heard [Abu Hurairah] say 'You think that Abu Hurairah is the one who narrates the most Hadiths from the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him, and Allah is the One who keeps promises. I used to be a poor person who always helped the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him who ate just staple food, while the Muhajirin were busy with trade in the markets, and the Ansar were busy with their possessions, then the Prophet peace be upon him said: 'Who among you wants to spread his cloth then he will never forget what he hears from me?' So I spread my cloth until he finished saying his words then I attached my cloth to my body. After that I never forgot the Hadiths I heard from him.' Narrated to me ['Abdullah bin Ja'far bin Yahya bin Khalid] Informed us [Ma'an] Informed us [Malik] Similarly narrated from another chain, And narrated to us ['Abad bin Humaid] Informed us ['Abdur Razzaq] Informed us [Ma'mar] all from [Az Zuhri] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah] with this Hadith. But Malik mentioned the Hadith only up to the words of Abu Hurairah. Without mentioning the Hadith from the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him.
