Keutamaan Umar bin Al Khaththab atas tawanan perang Badar
האימאם אחמד : 4132حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي نَهْشَلٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ فَضَلَ النَّاسَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ بِأَرْبَعٍ بِذِكْرِ الْأَسْرَى يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ أَمَرَ بِقَتْلِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { لَوْلَا كِتَابٌ مِنْ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ } وَبِذِكْرِهِ الْحِجَابَ أَمَرَ نِسَاءَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَحْتَجِبْنَ فَقَالَتْ لَهُ زَيْنَبُ وَإِنَّكَ عَلَيْنَا يَا ابْنَ الْخَطَّابِ وَالْوَحْيُ يَنْزِلُ فِي بُيُوتِنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَإِذَا سَأَلْتُمُوهُنَّ مَتَاعًا فَاسْأَلُوهُنَّ مِنْ وَرَاءِ حِجَابٍ } وَبِدَعْوَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَهُ اللَّهُمَّ أَيِّدْ الْإِسْلَامَ بِعُمَرَ وَبِرَأْيِهِ فِي أَبِي بَكْرٍ كَانَ أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ بَايَعَهُ
Narrated to us [Hasyim bin Al Qosim] Narrated to us [Al Mas'udi] from [Abu Nahsyal] from [Abu Wa`il] he said: [Abdullah] said, "The superiority of Umar bin Al Khaththab radliyallahu Ta'ala 'anhu over humans is in four things: regarding the prisoners of the war of Badr, he proposed to kill them (captives) until Allah said: '(If there had not been a previous decree from Allah, you would have suffered a great torment because of the ransom you took)' (Qs. Al Anfal: 68). Also about hijab, Umar suggested to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam that women wear the hijab, so Zaibab said to him, "What business do you have over us, O Ibnul Khaththab, while the revelation came to our house." Then Allah sent down His word: '(If you ask for something (necessity) from them (the Prophet's wives), then ask from behind the veil...)' (Qs. Al Ahzab: 53). 'alaihi wasallam to him: 'O Allah, Strengthen Islam with Umar.' And he was the first person to express his opinion and the one who swore Abu Bakr among all humans.
