Narrated to us [Hannad] said, narrated to us [Ibnu Abu Zaidah] said, narrated to us [Ibnu Abu Laila] from [Tsabit Al Bunani] from ['Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila], he said: [Abu Laila] said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'If a snake appears in your dwelling, say to it: Indeed, we ask you by the covenant of Noah and Solomon bin Dawud not to harm us." If it returns, kill it.' Abu Isa said: 'This hadith is hasan gharib we do not know it from Tsabit Al Bunani except through this chain, namely from the hadith of Ibnu Abu Laila.'"
