Berdoalah kepada tuhanmu dengan berendah diri dan suara yang lembut. Sesungguhnya allah tidak menyukai orang-orang yang melampaui batas
Imam Ahmad : 1402حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ مِخْرَاقٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبَايَةَ عَنْ مَوْلًى لِسَعْدٍ أَنَّ سَعْدًا سَمِعَ ابْنًا لَهُ يَدْعُو وَهُوَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَنَعِيمَهَا وَإِسْتَبْرَقَهَا وَنَحْوًا مِنْ هَذَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ النَّارِ وَسَلَاسِلِهَا وَأَغْلَالِهَا فَقَالَ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ اللَّهَ خَيْرًا كَثِيرًا وَتَعَوَّذْتَ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرٍّ كَثِيرٍ وَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ وَقَرَأَ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ { ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ } وَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ أَنْ تَقُولَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ النَّارِ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ
Narrated to us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] has related to us [Syu'bah] from [Ziyad bin Mihraq] said : I heard [Abu 'Abayah] from [Sa'd's former slave] that Sa'd heard his son pray; "ALLAHUMMA INNI AS`ALUKA AL JANNATA WANA'IMAHA WA`ISTABRAQAHA WANAHWAN MIN HADZA, WA`A'UDZUBIKA MINANNARI WASALASILAHA WA AGHLAALAHA (O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and its pleasures, its silk and its like, and I seek refuge in You from the Fire, from its chains and its fetters)" then [Sa'd] said : "You have asked Allah for very many good things and sought refuge in Allah from very many bad things. I heard the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him say: "There will be a people who commit mischief in praying." Then he read the verse: Pray to your Lord with humility and a soft voice. Indeed, Allah does not like those who transgress limits." In fact, it is enough for you to read: "ALLAHUMMA INNI AS`ALUKAL JANNATA WAMAA QARRABA ILAIHA MIN QAULIN AU 'AMAL, WA A'UDZUBIKA MINANNARI WAMA QARRABA ILAIHA MIN QAULIN AU 'AMAL (O Allah, verily I ask You for heaven and what brings it closer to it in words and deeds, and I seek refuge in You from Hell and whatever brings it closer to goodness. words or deeds).
