Allah berfirman: hambaku telah melakukan dosa lalu dia tahu bahwa ia memiliki tuhan yang mengampuni dosa dan menyiksanya, aku telah mengampuni hambaku…
Imam Muslim : 4953حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ إِسْحَقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِيمَا يَحْكِي عَنْ رَبِّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ أَذْنَبَ عَبْدٌ ذَنْبًا فَقَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ ثُمَّ عَادَ فَأَذْنَبَ فَقَالَ أَيْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَبْدِي أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ ثُمَّ عَادَ فَأَذْنَبَ فَقَالَ أَيْ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى أَذْنَبَ عَبْدِي ذَنْبًا فَعَلِمَ أَنَّ لَهُ رَبًّا يَغْفِرُ الذَّنْبَ وَيَأْخُذُ بِالذَّنْبِ اعْمَلْ مَا شِئْتَ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكَ قَالَ عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى لَا أَدْرِي أَقَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةِ أَوْ الرَّابِعَةِ اعْمَلْ مَا شِئْتَ قَالَ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زَنْجُويَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ الْقُشَيْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ النَّرْسِيُّ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ قَالَ كَانَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ قَاصٌّ يُقَالُ لَهُ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ عَبْدًا أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ وَذَكَرَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ أَذْنَبَ ذَنْبًا وَفِي الثَّالِثَةِ قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لِعَبْدِي فَلْيَعْمَلْ مَا شَاءَ
Narrated to me Abdul A'la bin Hammad narrated to us Hammad bin Salamah from Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Thalhah from Abdurrahman bin Abu Amrah from Abu Hurairah from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from what Allah, the Exalted, informed, he said: "There was a man who had sinned. Then he prayed and supplicated: 'O Allah, forgive my sin!' Then Allah, the Exalted, said: 'Indeed, My servant acknowledges he has sinned, and he knows he has a Lord who can forgive sins or punish for sins.' Then the man sinned again and prayed: 'O Allah, forgive my sin!' So Allah, the Exalted, said: 'My servant has sinned, and he knows he has a Lord who forgives sins or punishes His servant for sins. Therefore, do as you wish, for I will surely forgive you (if you repent).' Abdul A'la said 'I do not know whether the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Do as you wish' on the third or fourth time.' Abu Ahmad said narrated to me Muhammad bin Zanjuyah Al Qurasyi Al Qusyairi narrated to us Abdul A'la bin Hammad An Narsi with this chain. Narrated to me Abd bin Humaid narrated to me Abul Walid narrated to us Hammam narrated to us Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Thalhah, he said There was a man in Medina who narrated, he was called Abdurrahman bin Abu Amrah, he said I heard him say I heard Abu Hurairah say I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: A servant committed a sin... - similar to the Hadith of Hammad bin Salamah, mentioning the wording: - 'he committed a sin,' three times. And on the third time, he mentioned: 'I (Allah) have forgiven My servant, so do as he wishes.'
