Telah turun kepadaku empat ayat (Sebab turunnya QS. Al-Anfal: 1, Al-Ma'idah: 90, Luqman: 15, dan hukum wasiat sepertiga harta berkenaan dengan Sa'd bin Abi Waqqash)
Imam Muslim : 4432حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ نَزَلَتْ فِيهِ آيَاتٌ مِنْ الْقُرْآنِ قَالَ حَلَفَتْ أُمُّ سَعْدٍ أَنْ لَا تُكَلِّمَهُ أَبَدًا حَتَّى يَكْفُرَ بِدِينِهِ وَلَا تَأْكُلَ وَلَا تَشْرَبَ قَالَتْ زَعَمْتَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ وَصَّاكَ بِوَالِدَيْكَ وَأَنَا أُمُّكَ وَأَنَا آمُرُكَ بِهَذَا قَالَ مَكَثَتْ ثَلَاثًا حَتَّى غُشِيَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ الْجَهْدِ فَقَامَ ابْنٌ لَهَا يُقَالُ لَهُ عُمَارَةُ فَسَقَاهَا فَجَعَلَتْ تَدْعُو عَلَى سَعْدٍ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي الْقُرْآنِ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ { وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا } { وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ عَلَى أَنْ تُشْرِكَ بِي } وَفِيهَا { وَصَاحِبْهُمَا فِي الدُّنْيَا مَعْرُوفًا } قَالَ وَأَصَابَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَنِيمَةً عَظِيمَةً فَإِذَا فِيهَا سَيْفٌ فَأَخَذْتُهُ فَأَتَيْتُ بِهِ الرَّسُولَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقُلْتُ نَفِّلْنِي هَذَا السَّيْفَ فَأَنَا مَنْ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ حَالَهُ فَقَالَ رُدُّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخَذْتَهُ فَانْطَلَقْتُ حَتَّى إِذَا أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أُلْقِيَهُ فِي الْقَبَضِ لَامَتْنِي نَفْسِي فَرَجَعْتُ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْتُ أَعْطِنِيهِ قَالَ فَشَدَّ لِي صَوْتَهُ رُدُّهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ أَخَذْتَهُ قَالَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنْ الْأَنْفَالِ } قَالَ وَمَرِضْتُ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَتَانِي فَقُلْتُ دَعْنِي أَقْسِمْ مَالِي حَيْثُ شِئْتُ قَالَ فَأَبَى قُلْتُ فَالنِّصْفَ قَالَ فَأَبَى قُلْتُ فَالثُّلُثَ قَالَ فَسَكَتَ فَكَانَ بَعْدُ الثُّلُثُ جَائِزًا قَالَ وَأَتَيْتُ عَلَى نَفَرٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ فَقَالُوا تَعَالَ نُطْعِمْكَ وَنَسْقِكَ خَمْرًا وَذَلِكَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُحَرَّمَ الْخَمْرُ قَالَ فَأَتَيْتُهُمْ فِي حَشٍّ وَالْحَشُّ الْبُسْتَانُ فَإِذَا رَأْسُ جَزُورٍ مَشْوِيٌّ عِنْدَهُمْ وَزِقٌّ مِنْ خَمْرٍ قَالَ فَأَكَلْتُ وَشَرِبْتُ مَعَهُمْ قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ الْأَنْصَارَ وَالْمُهَاجِرِينَ عِنْدَهُمْ فَقُلْتُ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ قَالَ فَأَخَذَ رَجُلٌ أَحَدَ لَحْيَيْ الرَّأْسِ فَضَرَبَنِي بِهِ فَجَرَحَ بِأَنْفِي فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيَّ يَعْنِي نَفْسَهُ شَأْنَ الْخَمْرِ { إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ وَالْأَزْلَامُ رِجْسٌ مِنْ عَمَلِ الشَّيْطَانِ } حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أُنْزِلَتْ فِيَّ أَرْبَعُ آيَاتٍ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ زُهَيْرٍ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ وَزَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ فَكَانُوا إِذَا أَرَادُوا أَنْ يُطْعِمُوهَا شَجَرُوا فَاهَا بِعَصًا ثُمَّ أَوْجَرُوهَا وَفِي حَدِيثِهِ أَيْضًا فَضَرَبَ بِهِ أَنْفَ سَعْدٍ فَفَزَرَهُ وَكَانَ أَنْفُ سَعْدٍ مَفْزُورًا
Narrated to us Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah and Zuhair bin Harb, both said: Narrated to us Al Hasan bin Musa Narrated to us Zuhair Narrated to us Simak bin Harb Narrated to me Mush'ab bin Sa'ad from his father that several Quranic verses were revealed concerning Sa'ad. Mush'ab said: "Sa'ad’s mother swore never to speak to him until he abandoned Islam, and she refused to eat or drink." Sa'ad’s mother said to him, "O Sa'ad, you said that Allah commanded you to be kind to your parents. I am your mother, and I order you to abandon Islam." Mush'ab said: "She persisted without food or drink for three days and nights until she fainted from weakness. Then Umarah, her son, gave her water. She kept calling Sa'ad, and then Allah revealed: 'We have enjoined upon man kindness to his parents' (Quran, Al-Ankabut 29:8). Another verse says: 'If they strive to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them, but keep their company in this world kindly' (Quran, Luqman 31:15). Sa'ad said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) obtained abundant war spoils, including a sword. I took the sword and brought it to him, saying, 'O Messenger of Allah, give me this sword, for you know my character.' But he said, 'O Sa'ad, return the sword to where you took it.' I went, intending to take it back, but I reproached myself. I returned to the Messenger and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, give me the sword!' Yet he stood firm, saying loudly, 'O Sa'ad, I told you to return the sword to where you took it!' Then Allah revealed: 'They ask you about the spoils of war' (Quran, Al-Anfal 8:1). Sa'ad said: 'When I fell ill, I sent someone to the Messenger. He visited me, and I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, allow me to bequeath my wealth as I wish.' He forbade it. I said, 'What about half?' He still forbade it. Then I said, 'What about a third?' He paused, then allowed a third. Sa'ad said: 'I visited some Ansar and Muhajirin, and they said, 'Come, O Sa'ad, we will give you food and wine (khamr, before it was prohibited).' I joined them in a garden where there was a roasted camel’s head and a container of wine. I ate and drank heartily with them. During the discussion about the virtues of the Ansar and Muhajirin, I said the Muhajirin were better. This was controversial and offended many present. One of them struck me with a camel’s jawbone, injuring my nose. I went to the Messenger and told him what happened. Then Allah revealed: 'Indeed, intoxicants, gambling, sacrificing to idols, and divining arrows are an abomination of Satan’s work' (Quran, Al-Maidah 5:90)." Narrated to us Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna and Muhammad bin Basysyar, both said: Narrated to us Muhammad bin Ja'far Narrated to us Syu'bah from Simak bin Harb from Mush'ab bin Sa'ad from his father, he said: "Four Quranic verses were revealed concerning me," and so on, as in the Hadith of Zuhair from Simak. In Syu'bah’s Hadith, it is added: 'When they wanted to feed his mother, they opened her mouth with a stick and poured food in.' Also mentioned: 'One of them struck Sa'ad’s nose until it tore.'
