Imam Bukhari : 2682حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو سَمِعَ جَابِرًا عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَأْتِي زَمَانٌ يَغْزُو فِئَامٌ مِنْ النَّاسِ فَيُقَالُ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَحِبَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيُقَالُ نَعَمْ فَيُفْتَحُ عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي زَمَانٌ فَيُقَالُ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَحِبَ أَصْحَابَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيُقَالُ نَعَمْ فَيُفْتَحُ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي زَمَانٌ فَيُقَالُ فِيكُمْ مَنْ صَحِبَ صَاحِبَ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيُقَالُ نَعَمْ فَيُفْتَحُ
It has been narrated to us by 'Abdullah bin Muhammad, who narrated from Sufyan, from 'Amr, who heard Jabir narrate from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with them, from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'A time will come when a group of people will go to battle, and it will be asked: 'Is there among you anyone who accompanied the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him?' They will say: 'Yes,' and they will be granted victory. Then a time will come when it will be asked: 'Is there among you anyone who accompanied the companions of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him?' They will say: 'Yes,' and they will be granted victory. Then a time will come when it will be asked: 'Is there among you anyone who accompanied the companions of the companions of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him?' They will say: 'Yes,' and they will be granted victory.'
