حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيَّ بِمَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدِ قَالَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ بِقَافْ وَ اقْتَرَبَتْ

Hat uns erzählt ['Abdur Rahman bin Mahdi] hat uns [Malik] von [Dhamrah bin Sa'id] von [Ubaidillah bin Abdullah] erzählt, dass Umar bin Al Khaththab Radliyallahu'anhu [Abu Waqid Al Laitsi] gefragt hat, was Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam während des Id-Gebets gelesen hat. Er antwortete: Er las die Briefe Qaaf und Iqtarabat (Alqamar).
